JENIN, August 8, 2005, (WAFA-PLO news agency)- Prime Minister Ahmed Qurei warned, on Monday of Israeli "dangerous projects" behind the scene of the unilateral withdrawal from Gaza and the West Bank.
During seperate meetings with the chiefs of security apparatuses and heads of civil society organizations in Jenin, Qurei said that one of the dangerous projects is the "so called the Palestinian state with temporary borders". He stressed that the Palestinian National Authority (PNA) totally rejects such a project, because it does not ensure the Palestinian rights.
PM added that Israel tries to divert the Palestinian people from the expansion of colonies in the occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank as well as from the building of the Apartheid Wall.
Qurei asserted that the PNA pays a special attention to several key points especially the sea, air and land ports and the industrial zones.
PM concluded by affirming that the Gaza withdrawal is the first step in the Palestinian path which ends in Jerusalem, the permanent capital of Palestinian state, and solving the issue of Palestinian refugees according to the UN resolution 194.
