Abbas Warns against Israeli Dalliance to Implement its Obligations

RAMALLAH, March 8, 2005 (WAFA- PLO News Agency)-President Mahmoud Abbas warned against the continued Israeli dalliance to implement its obligations, referring that this dalliance constitutes a threat to what we have succeeded in achieving and gives excuses to those who are against the peace process.
Addressing the 10th session of the Palestinian Legislative Council (PLC) in Ramallah, on Tuesday, Abbas confirmed that the Palestinian efforts in security will remain motionless without implementing the Road Map obligations and launching the final status negotiations according to the international resolutions, the Arab Peace initiative and the US President's vision to end Israeli occupation and establish the Palestinian independent state with Jerusalem as its capital as well as solving the Refugee issue according to the international resolutions.
Abbas also expressed the Leadership and the Palestinian people's rejection to the idea of a provisional state with temporary borders, confirming the Palestinian rejection to the Israeli efforts to intensify settlement activities.
President Abbas reiterated the Palestinian Authority readiness to take over the responsibilities upon the Palestinian areas that Israeli intends to withdraw from, revealing that this withdrawal must comprehensive, and not harm the political and juridical integrety between the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
