Dear Sirs, Having come across your website, can I put the following arising out of the Musa Project items?

Having some interest in maritime matters, I would like to ask how can early Muslims have sailed on the coasts of what is now South Africa when it is known that from the Cape of Storms (later renamed as Cape of Good Hope) to Cape Corrientes (= Cape of Currents) was regarded by Arab sailors as too dangerous to sail on? Is anything known about how they would have avoided the dangers?

Is any more known about the half-Ethiopian Muslim(s) that your site says reached South Africa? Is any of this information published in book form?

Regards, H. Bourne
