Re: Inflammatory Poster [Oxfam]

Hello;

Recently while on a trip in Europe, a Belgian army office came up to me and asked if I was an American. Upon learning that I was, proceeded to thank me for the American sacrifice at the battle of the Ardennes (Battle of the Bulge). More than 80,000 American casualties of which 19,000 died.

Unlike Oxfam this army office had a knowledge and respect for history. I would suggest that Oxfam visit the American military cemeteries in Europe, and count the number of Jewish graves, especially in Belgium & Luxembourg. If this is not sufficient, then let them count Jewish British graves from the Great War in Belgium.

Oxfam should immediately recall & denounce this inflammatory poster, not because of a debt to the Jewish people, but for their own self respect and dignity, it is an outrage and an insult. It is also a lie about Israel, but even worse it is a lie to the world, a lie that will reflect not only on Oxfam, but on Belgium.
