Islamic Jihad demonstrates newly developed Rocket

Following in the Steps of the Hamas and the Fatah, the Islamic Jihad has also added the Manufacture of Weapons, intended for Terror Attacks against Israel, to its Products.

The Military faction of the Islamic Jihad - the "Jerusalem Brigade" - have demonstrated on 25/May/02 the newly developed weapon which appears like a rocket similar to the "Kassam" rockets produced by the Hamas.

In a television program on Almanar Television (the official Hizbullah television station) Islamic Jihad activists are seen shooting three missiles towards the Shderot settlement located north of Gaza inside Israeli territory.

Notes:

1. The rocket attack towards the Israeli village was carried out in broad daylight. The terrorists were seen arriving at the site of the attack wearing army uniforms, armed, their faces covered, and it seems as if they are not afraid of being detained or arrested by the Palestinian security forces.

2. The fact that the Islamic Jihad has entered the field of weapons manufacturing in the Gaza Strip following in the steps of the Hamas and the Fatah, might reveal the span of the weapons manufacturing infrastructure which operates undisturbed in the Palestinian Authority's territories and is used to carry out terror attacks against Israeli civilians and soldiers.
